- Shri Brahma served in the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS).
- Retired after rendering 38 years long dedicated service in the public sector.

- A Post-graduate in History, PG Diploma in Indian Monuments & Tourism, and graduate in Law, started his career as a photojournalist, his photo features and articles on History, Art, Culture and Tourism have been widely published.
- Served in the Odisha Administrative Services in 1989 for over three decades in several capacities including the Handloom and Handicraft sectors.
- Passionately followed research and publication of the rich cultural heritage of Odisha with missionary zeal and has several books to his credit including ‘Silver Splendor of Millennium City’, ‘Netaji was born here’, ‘Celebrating Colours’, ‘Cuttack- The City of Museums’, ‘Divine Fabric’, ‘Royal Heritage of Odisha’,‘Textile Tales from Tribal Odisha’ and ‘Lighthouses of Odisha – Beacons of Tourism’ .

- Practising advocate in the High Court of Orissa.

- Aptly dealing with management initiatives like ISO, 6 sigmas, TPM, ABCM, PMS and 5s, QMS etc during the 25 years tenure with different firms, Certified for 5 “S” by Assochem.

- Worked as visiting faculty in different educational institutes.
- Providing consultancy in Mines and minerals and Pollution Control related areas.

- With a commerce degree, joined the Hindustan Unilever Ltd and dealt with Company’s core business in Soaps & Detergents Division. Played a key role in Launching the “RIN” and “LIRIL” brands with market dominance.
- Was Market-picked by the FMCG giant, ITC Ltd in 1981, where he continued to scale greater heights till his superannuation in 2015 as the Head of Corporate Industry Affairs.
- Has wide experience in handling large business volumes in diverse geographical and business environment, Brand building, Market Positioning and Supply Chain Management.
- Effectively contributed in Key Result Areas with focus on Sustainability and business Growth as end result.

Holds a degree in Textile Technology from Calcutta University and an MBA from Utkal University.He also underwent training from Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmadabad.
Started his career in the spinning mills of Odisha and was closely associated with procurement and installation of textile machineries, erection of the mill followed by production and maintenance of cotton and synthetic yarn.
Served in a premier Central Public Sector Enterprise namely National Handloom Development Corporation Limited (NHDC) under Ministry of Textiles, Government of India dealing with sourcing and distribution of yarn, dyes and chemicals, loom and accessories for the handloom sector for three decades (1989-2019).
With an annual sales turnover of about 2,000 crores, NHDC pursued the objective of providing quality yarn, dyes and chemicals to the Handloom Sector at a reasonable price. It also took up implementation of government sponsored programs for skill up-gradation of the handloom weavers in dyeing and weaving as well as providing market linkages through organization of buyer-seller meet, silk fab, wool fab and handloom expos, besides development of Clusters and entrepreneurship in the handloom sector.
In course of his long tenure in NHDC, Sri Das worked closely with the handloom weavers and entrepreneurs in the states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well as with the suppliers of yarn, dyes and chemicals and other raw material to establishing seamless supply-chain.
His practical experience, pleasant manners and eye for detail make him an asset for SHRADDHA.
